Tara Reid Blasts Critics in New Twitter Post
LOS ANGELES - Actress Tara Reid blasted her critics in a Twitter post yesterday after she was criticized for seemingly appearing "too skinny and unhealthy" in online photos where she was wearing a bikini. Reid was also accused of photoshopping the images to appear thinner.
The actress, who is set to star in the upcoming "Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!" on Syfy, said the criticisms are old news. She wrote: "I don't appreciate all the tabloids bullying me! The Photoshop on the pics are untrue I'm just a skinny girl and I do eat! This is old news!"
Reid is known for a number of films including the cult classic "The Big Lebowski," 2002's "Van Wilder," "American Pie," "The Boss's Daughter," and others.
Most recently, she has been experiencing a resurgence with the hugely popular "Sharknado," which was released in theaters and concurrently on Syfy last year to huge ratings for the cabler. She reprised her role as April Wexler in the sequel "Sharknado 2: The Second One," to even larger ratings than the original film last summer.
"Sharknado 3" is set for release on July 22 on Syfy.
