Jordan Peele's New Movie Gets 100 Percent from Rotten Tomatoes


Daniel Kaluuya stars in the horror/mystery film directed by Jordan Peele, "Get Out" (Blumhouse Productions).

LOS ANGELES - Jordan Peele’s directorial debut, the film “Get Out,” is getting rave reviews from critics and has done the seemingly impossible – received a Rotten Tomatoes score of 100 percent. It is based upon 85 movie reviews. But the score could change when more reviews are added.

The horror film tells the story of an interracial couple Rose (Allison Williams) and Chris (Daniel Kaluuya), who decide to leave the city for a country gathering in the country hosted by mom (Catherine Keener) and dad (Bradley Whitford).

But once the couple arrives at the gathering it’s revealed that a number of young black men have begun to disappear in the local area.

“Get Out” was produced by Jason Blum and Sean McKittrick (“Donnie Darko”), Peele and Edward H. Hamm Jr. The cast includes Caleb Landry Jones (“X-Men”), Milton “Lil Rel” Howery (“The Carmichael Show”), Betty Gabriel (“The Purge: Election Year”), Marcus Henderson (“Pete’s Dragon”) and Keith Stanfield (“Straight Outta Compton”).
