Milla Jovovich's New Film is Finally Coming to the Screen!

LOS ANGELES - "Survivor," the action-thriller from director James McTeague (V For Vendetta) starring Milla Jovovich and Pierce Brosnan, has been acquired for distribution by Alchemy, a company that specializes in distributing independent films. A release date has not been set.

"Survivor" tells the story of a Foreign Service Officer in London who tries to prevent a terrorist attack on New York, but is then forced to go on the run after she is framed for crimes she didn't commit. The cast includes Emma Thompson, Angela Basset and Dylan McDermott.

Jovovich is known for her roles in such films as the "Resident Evil," series, "The Fifth Element," "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans," and "Dazed and Confused," among others. Born in the Ukraine, the actress came to Hollywood after a successful career as a model, having appeared in more than 100 magazine covers around the world.
