It's been a long day of bad news so all the more reason to admire Victoria's Secret Supermodel Candice Swanepoel from a recent modeling shoot. Yes, you don't all have to thank me at once.

The 26-year-old model was born in South African on Oct. 20, 1988 and has been modeling since she was 15. She has appeared scores of magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, GQ, Vogue, Elle, and many others. She has modeled on runways for such designers as Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors, Donna Karan, Oscar de la Renta, Michael Wu and many others.

In 2010, she became a Victoria's Secret Angel and began modeling for the retailer as its premier model, featured on the covers of its highly popular catalogs. She has appeared on its popular runway shows each year, which have been televised on CBS since 2010.
