Paramount Releases 'Terminator Genisys' Trailer

LOS ANGELES - Paramount Pictures has released the new trailer for the upcoming "Terminator: Genisys" film starring Jason Clarke ("Dawn of the Planet of the Apes") and Arnold Schwarzenegger ("Terminator") set for release on July 1.

The film shows Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke of “Game of Thrones”) meeting her grown-up son, John, who will now try to kill her. The new trailer that was released on Monday, shows a scene in which John (Jason Clarke) shows up as a deadly cyborg, and tries to terminate Sarah. Thankfully, the terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) will make his appearance in the hopes of saving the day.

As a cyborg, John aims to kill his mother, as well as all of humanity: “I’m not machine. I’m not man. I’m more,” he says as he easily throws Schwarzenegger out of his way. Fans will also see a fight scene between his current older self, and the version filmgoers first met in James Cameron‘s original “Terminator” movie. Thank goodness for CGI!
