Police Detain Driver in Connection with Hit-and-Run Involving Ryan Reynolds
LOS ANGELES - Vancouver police have detained a 52-year-old photographer in connection with the hit-and-run accident involving actor Ryan Reynolds on Friday. Reynolds was not injured.
Police said they have a man in custody who may be involved in the incident that took place on Friday around 7 p.m. when the actor was approached by a photographer in an underground parking structure at the Shangri La Hotel in Vancouver. During a confrontation between the two, a driver struck Reynolds and proceeded to leave the lot without stopping.
Police said the driver was identified and taken into custody. Among the charges pending are intimidation and fleeing the scene of an accident.
