'Furious 7' tops Weekend Box Office with $29.16 Million, "Paul Blart " in 2nd

LOS ANGELES - "Furious 7" topped weekend box office by going over the $1 billion mark in just 17 days of worldwide box office play, faster than any other movie in history. The Paul Walker/Vin Diesel vehicle earned another $29 million yesterday, down “just” 51% from last weekend, to bring its domestic cume to $294.4m.
In China alone, it has earned $250 million, making it the second-biggest American movie in that country outside of "Transformers: Age of Extinction" ($320m). Sony Pictures' comedy "Paul Blart Mall Cop 2" came in second place with $23.8 million on its opening weekend, followed by the online thriller "Unfriended," with $15.8 million.
DreamWorks Animation’s "Home" earned $10.3 million or down by 44 percent from last weekend, bringing its cumulative totals up to a solid $142.61 million. It was followed in fifth place by 20th Century Fox's "The Longest Ride," which earned $7.02 million for a two-week total of $23.7 million. The rest stack up this way:
