Olsen Twins Say they May Join 'Full House' Reboot
LOS ANGELES - Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen say they plan to speak to the creators of "Full House" to learn more about the proposed reboot of the venerable 90s family comedy which got them their start in Hollywood.
Ashley, along with her twin sister Mary-Kate, played young Michelle Tanner in the ABC sitcom that ran for eight seasons from 1987 to 1995.
The twins, both 28, told Women's Wear Daily Tuesday that they were surprised to hear of the show's possible return when John Stamos told "Jimmy Kimmel Live" host, Jimmy Kimmel that the reboot was in the works. The proposed series, called "Fuller House," is slated to air 13 episodes on Netflix next year.
"I guess we're going to talk to the creators and see what's happening," Mary-Kate said.
"I ran into Bob [Saget] the other day and we didn't even talk about it," Ashley added.
Although the twins were non-committal and may join the proposed show yet, Stamos joked with Kimmel, saying""If we can't get the Olsen twins, we're going to dress you up."
