'Furious 7' tops the Weekend Box Office For the 4th Straight Week


LOS ANGELES - Universal's spring juggernaut "Furious 7" topped the weekend box office for the fourth straight week with $18.26 million for a total of $320.5 million U.S. total. The film is the studio's fourth highest-grossing film, after 2013's "Despicable Me 2" with $368M, 1982's "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial," $359.2; and 1993's "Jurassic Park," $357.1M.

"Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2," was second with $14.78 million for a total of $43.22 million total to date. "The Age of Adaline" from Lakeshore/SKE came in third with $13.375 million. "Adaline" stars Blake Lively and Harrison Ford. "Home" was fourth with $8.01 million for a total of $153.49 million, followed in fifth place by "Unfriended," with $6.16 million and $25.07 million.

The robot-themed

sci-fi film "Ex Machina" became A24’s highest grossing weekend film in its history with $5.44M at 1,255 screens.

10. "Woman in Gold," *(Weinstein Co.) $3.36 million, $21.50 million.
