'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Wipes the Floor with The Competition This Weekend!
LOS ANGELES - Disney/Marvel’s "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" wiped the floor with the competition this weekend as it took in $191.27 million at the U.S. box office for a worldwide total of $631.1 million. The superhero saga easily outdistanced second place juggernaut "Fast and Furious 7" which was in its fifth week of release and garnered $6.64 million for a total of $331.07 million.
"Avengers: Age of Ultron" had the second biggest opening weekend in film history, coming behind the first "Avengers" movie in May 2012 when it earned $207.44 million.
