Playboy Names Dani Mathers its Playmate of the Year

LOS ANGELES - Actress/model Dani Mathers was named Playboy Magazine's 2015 Playmate of the Year at a ceremony Thursday at the Playboy Mansion.

Mathers, 28, will be featured on the cover of Playboy's June issue along with a 10-page photo spread inside the magazine. Besides her title, Mathers received $100,000 and a one-year lease to a mini Cooper convertible.

"I've wanted this for so long," said Mathers in a statement. "Like with any accomplishment, you work hard and hope it will pay off. But I can't believe it did."

Mathers had been Playboy's Cybergirl of the Month in January 2013 and its Playmate of the Month in May 2014, gracing the magazine's cover that month and its centerfold. The blond actress appeared in the films "Neighbors" and "Furious 7" and has played a recurring character on the CBS soap opera, "The Bold and the Beautiful."
