Pamela Anderson Strips Naked for PETA Campaign

LOS ANGELES - Pamela Anderson is getting naked again! This time it's not for Playboy, but for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, better known as PETA.

The former Playboy Playmate and "Baywatch" star posed nude for the ad where she reenacted the shower scene from Alfred Hitchcock's classic thriller, "Psycho." The ad was photographed by famed fashion photographer David LaChapelle.

In the ad, the 47-year-old Anderson stands in a shower in a pose reminiscent of Janet Leigh in the 1960 film classic.

“Meat and dairy farms drain half the country’s water,” ad reads. “Making a splash for the environment doesn’t just mean shorter showers. Try vegan.”

Anderson has been a major supporter of PETA, having been featured in past campaigns where she urged consumers to become vegetarian. Other stars featured in PETA campaigns have been Holly Madison, Alicia Silverstone, Shanna Moakler, Jennie Garth and others.
