LOS ANGELES - TLC is pulling airings of its popular "19 Kids and Counting" after reports surfaced accusing

Josh Duggar of having molested five underage girls as a teenager. Duggar is a regular on the reality show.

The network has made no comments regarding the show so far.

TLC had scheduled five episodes of "19 Kids and Counting" to air throughout next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and again throughout the first week of June, but those episodes have been taken out from the schedule without comment by the network.

Duggar told People magazine Friday: ""Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends," he explained. "I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life."

Duggar's wife Anna, 26, and his parents, Jim Bob, 49, and Michelle, 48, who also star in the series also released statements to the magazine in support of him: "Even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God."
