Lifetime Releases Trailer for Will Ferrel/Kristin Wiig Movie

LOS ANGELES - Lifetime has released the full-length trailer for its upcoming Will Ferrell/Kristin Wiig movie "A Deadly Adoption."

Judging by the new trailer, "A Deadly Adoption" already appears to be the craziest, most ridiculous thing to hit the TV screen in years! The movie tells the story of a successful couple (Ferrell and Wiig) who decide to house and care for a pregnant woman (Jessica Lowndes) in the hopes of adopting her unborn child.

Developed and shot in complete secrecy for maximum effect, "A Deadly Adoption" was seemingly supposed to air on the female-skewing Lifetime with no advance warning. But when word got out in April, Ferrell issued a statement saying the film was shelved indefinitely. But that proved to be a red herring and the film is now set to air on the network with a marketing campaign behind it.

The movie, written by Andrew Steele (The Spoils of Babylon) and directed by Rachel Lee Goldenberg (Escape from Polygamy) is set to air Saturday, June 20 on Lifetime.
