Reality Star Found Slain in Her Home, Boyfriend Arrested
LOS ANGELES - Loredana Nesci, the 47-year-old one-time cop-turned-lawyer who starred on the SundanceTV reality series "Loredana, Esq.," was found dead Wednesday morning at her home in Redondo Beach, Calif.
Redondo Beach Police said today that officers responding to a 7:20 a.m. call by the reality star's boyfriend Robert Reagan, found Nesci dead at the scene. Police arrested Reagan and is being held on $1 million bail.
Nesci apparently died from a gunshot wound. Police said the couple had been arguing prior to the shooting. Her minor son born to the victim and Reagan was not at home at the time of the shooting.
"Loredana, Esq." had premiered in March 2014 and aired six episodes, featuring the former cop as she provided legal representation to regular people who were facing criminal charges due to bad choices they had made.
Nesci was a former LAPD officer who according to her website was involved in the North Hollywood shootout in 1987 before becoming an attorney and hosting a legal-themed radio program.
