LOS ANGELES - Kanye West goes on a 15-minute rant, Nicki Minaj cusses out awards show host Miley Cyrus & Miley's bizarre costumes made the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards another in a long line of disasters for the annual awards show.

In the midst of that mess, it's hard to remember that there were awards handed out. In that regard, perennial favorite Taylor Swift cleaned up, earning Best Pop Video and Best Female Video, both for "Blank Space," and Video of the Year for "Bad Blood," which featured Kendrick Lamar.

Minaj, who received an award for Best Hip Hop Video for "Anaconda," opened her acceptance speech by thanking her pastor and others, before tearing into Cyrus when she said: "Now, back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me in the press the other day. ... Miley, what's good?" in reference to Cyrus' interview with the New York Times where she apparently criticized Minaj for complaining about not being nominated for Best Video.

Cyrus, who responded by explaining that her comments were taken out of context, did her part to further lower the bar for the awards show by a steady stream of cursing and scandalous costumes. But as it was, here are the winners:
