LOS ANGELES - Actress Emily Kinney, who is best known for portraying Beth Greene in AMC's "The Walking Dead," was on stage recently performing her many songs. Yes, you've heard right, Kinney is a singer/composer with a number of popular songs under her belt.
Before her character was killed off last fall in an excruciatingly sad episode, Kinney was able to perform a few songs on the show, including the Jimmy Cliff song "Struggling Man," and her own "Be Good." She is a truly talented performer.
Born in Wayne, Nebraska Kinney graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2006 before going to reoccurring roles and guest appearances on television series such as "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Law & Order: SVU," The Good Wife, and The Big C. She was cast as "Beth Greene" in the AMC television series, The Walking Dead in 2011.
More recently, she's appeared as villain Bug-Eyed Bandit in "The Flash," "Masters of Sex" and the recently aired "Love on the Sidelines," movie on the Hallmark Channel.
