Paul Oakenfold Is Honored at Entrepreneur Awards

LOS ANGELES - Legendary DJ/music producer Paul Oakenfold was presented the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award at the 2017 Entrepreneur Awards in Los Angeles this week.

The three-time Grammy-nominated artist is among the biggest-selling music artists today. He was voted the No. 1 DJ in the World twice in 1998 and 1999 by DJ Magazine. He has provided over 100 remixes for over 100 artists including U2, Moby, Madonna, Massive Attack, New Order, The Rolling Stones, The Stone Roses. In April, Oakenfold and his friends will make the journey through Nepal’s remote villages to Mount Everest for a ground-breaking live concert event at an altitude of nearly 18,000 feet, called “Soundtrek.”

The event also featured fashion designer Kelly Nishimoto of TLC’s “Something Borrowed, Something New” reality star Tiphany Adams of “Push Girls,” and others. The Entrepreneur Awards was presented by the World Networks, an L.A..-based networking organization for entrepreneurs.
