FX's 'Feud' to Take On Prince Charles and Diana for Season 2


The story of Prince Charles and Princess Diana will be the focus of FX's "Feud" in Season 2 (File Photo).

LOS ANGELES - FX's "Feud" is set to take on the tumultuous story of Prince Charles and Princess Diana for Season 2 of the acclaimed series.

"American Horror Story " Producer Ryan Murphy says he's planning to take on the story of Charles and Diana as the next season of “Feud,” which has garnered a 10-episode order from FX this month.

The agreement comes after receiving wide acclaim for "The People V. O.J. Simpson" which aired over six weeks last winter on FX. The first season of “Feud” premieres on Sunday, with the story of the rivalry between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis that took place during the filming of “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?” in 1963.

Jon Robin Baitz is set to write “Feud: Charles and Diana” for FX. Veteran producer Dede Gardner, Plan B Entertainment and Alexis Martin Woodall will serve as executive producers The series will be produced for Fox 21 Television Studios.
