Cara Delevingne is Newest Celebrity to Shave her Head

LOS ANGELES – Cara Delevingne is following a trend by Katy Perry, Kristin Steward and if you want to go further back, by Britney Spears when she told E! News that she has shaved her head.

The supermodel went on Instagram to reveal a big chunk of her hair was lying on the floor as she told fans she has decided to shave all her hair off.

In March, Kristen Stewart chopped off much of her hair into a blonde pixie as she appeared on the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere for her new movie “Personal Shopper.” The actress later revealed that she had made the drastic move for her upcoming movie “Underwater.” The thriller tells the story of a group of underwater researchers who must struggle to survive after an earthquake damages their underwater lab.

Katy Perry also showed off her shaved head this week, when she posted to Instagram to share the new sleek look. In the posting, she said Scarlett Johansson inspired her, and that she feels her look makes her feel as if she is now her most "authentic" self.
