Reese Witherspoon to Guest on 'The Mindy Project'

LOS ANGELES – Reese Witherspoon will guest star on Hulu's “The Mindy Project,” its star, Mindy Kaling announced in an Instagram Post today.

Kaling appeared in the posting holding a cell phone and wearing a vest, while Witherspoon was wearing a red off-the-shoulder dress, both apparently in a cave.

The posting read: “Our latest #themindyproject guest star is the only woman I would want to (sic) trapped in a cave with,” Kaling captioned the photo. “(This is weirdly the second cave we have acted in together!)”

Kaling may have been referring to “A Wrinkle In Time,” as the “cave” where she and Witherspoon play Mrs. Who and Mrs. Whatsit, respectively. Oprah Winfrey played Mrs. Which, the third of the three unusual beings that come to take a young girl and her brother in order to save their father. The film is scheduled to premiere March 9, 2018.
