Sound Guru Prajapati Joins 'Hangman,' Starring Al Pacino
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – India-native and noted sound editor Hemang Prajapati has joined “Hangman,” the upcoming thriller starring Al Pacino.
“I’m very honored to join this very talented production team,” Prajapati said. “Every movie is a team effort and becoming a part of this extremely accomplished group of professionals is like a dream come true. I am very excited!”
Directed by Johnny Martin from a script by Michael Caissie, Charles Huttinger and Phil Hawkins, “Hangman” tells the story of a homicide detective who teams up with a criminal profiler to catch a serial killer whose crimes are inspired by the children's game Hangman. The film is set for release next year.
Led by Pacino as Detective Archer, the film stars Karl Urban (“Dredd”), Brittany Snow (“Christy Davies”), Sarah Shahi (“Person of Interest”), Joe Anderson and Jules Haven (“The Sinner”) and Michael Papajohn (“Jurassic Park”).
As sound editor, Prajapati will help create film’s sound effects and background to set the mood and atmosphere for the film.
