Kate Upton Announces she's Pregnant Via Instagram

LOS ANGELES - Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton took to Instagram to announce to fans that she is pregnant in a posting featuring a slight baby bump.

The model and wife of Houston Astros star pitcher Justin Verlander with a simple posting that read "#PregnantInMiami.

Upton married the World Series ace in November 2017 and will have the couple's first child sometime next year. Upton was named the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Rookie of the Year following her appearance in the magazine in 2011, and was the cover model for the 2012, 2013 and 2017 issues
