NBC Launches 'Rings Across America' to Celebrate Upcoming Tokyo Olympics
TAMFORD, Conn. – NBC Olympics is launching “Rings Across America” this week, as a life-sized set of Olympic rings tours the country, stopping as an interactive exhibit in iconic locations in six cities ahead of the Tokyo Olympics Opening Ceremony on Friday, July 23. “Rings Across America” will stop at:
Los Angeles, Calif.: Universal CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood (July 3-4)
Chicago, Ill.: Pioneer Court (July 9)
Miami, Fla.: NBC Summer Games! (July 13)
Orlando, Fla.: Universal Studios Florida Entrance at Universal Orlando (July 16-17)
Washington D.C.: National Mall (July 19-20)
New York City: 30 Rockefeller Plaza Channel Gardens (July 23-25)
In addition to fan engagement in the six cities, the Rings will sit on the flatbed of a truck during transit, allowing for visibility throughout the entire tour across the country. The exhibit will make its first stop at Universal CityWalk adjacent to Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, Calif. on July 3-4.
