NBC's Peacock to Stream the Winter Olympics Live

LOS ANGELES – Peacock will be streaming the 2022 Winter Olympics live, the company announced today.

The streaming services said that it will stream every event live, in addition to NBC’s primetime show and studio programming, on its premium tier. The premium service costs $4.99 per month with ads and does not require a pay TV subscription.

Unlike the Tokyo Olympics, which ran last summer when the company streamed gymnastics, track & field and men’s basketball on Peacock, including exclusive studio programming, the service will offer the entire Olympics competition live.

Besides live coverage of the event’s 15 sports and opening and closing ceremonies, NBC will provide replays of all events available to Peacock immediately after they end, along with daily programming and other coverage. The Beijing Winter Olympics are scheduled to begin on Feb. 4 with its opening ceremonies.

“As the streaming destination of the 2022 Winter Olympics, Peacock will offer the ultimate fan experience all in one place,” said Kelly Campbell, president of Peacock, in a statement.
