Chelsea Handler Says She Was Nearly 'Cosbyed' by Bill Cosby

LOS ANGELES - Comedian Chelsea Handler has told Esquire magazine that she met comedian Bill Cosby at club during a gig and was invited to his hotel room where today, she feels that she may have avoided the fate of other women who have accused Cosby of drugging and raping them.

Handler told the magazine that she was with three men who were filming her during the gig and that she went with them to Cosby's room:

"I brought them up with me to his room and thank God I did, because now I know what would've happened if I went up there alone. And I forgot about it when all the stories about Bill Cosby came out. I was like, I didn't even think of it. Then my friend texted me the other day saying, "Do you remember that night we went up to, or that afternoon we went up to Bill Cosby's and you were so freaked out you made us come with you?" And I said, Yeah..." she told the magazine.

So far, 33 women have come forward accusing the comedian of sexual misconduct for alleged incidents taking place over the past 30 years.
